The Personal Librarian Program matches students with a librarian based on your Academic Society. A Personal Librarian will serve as your point of contact for the Calder Library.
Your Personal Librarian will provide you with the following information throughout your stay at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
New resources and/or services in the Library including:
- Databases, book collections, and other resources
- Study areas, computer spots, and other services
Answer questions about Library services and related information such as:
- Book checkouts and reserves, electronic resources, printing, study rooms, etc.
- Finding articles, ordering materials through Interlibrary Loans, etc.
- Remote and mobile access troubleshooting
Expert guidance on finding information for research projects:
- Crafting effective research and/or clinical queries
- Selecting and searching the appropriate databases to search for biomedical literature
- Using citation management tools (EndNote, RefWorks, and/or Zotero)
