Profile: Diana Reyes
Diana Reyes joined the University of Miami Libraries in August 2024 as the Collection Development Assessment and Licensing Librarian at the Louis Calder Memorial Library. This role involves assessing library resources to make sure they align with existing academic programs and new program proposals; working to identify products, arrange trials, and negotiate licenses for resources; and developing and implementing evidence-based collection assessment that service the teaching and learning mission of the university and the medical campus community specifically.
She holds a Master of Science (MS) in Information degree, with two certificates in Information Architecture and Information Leadership and Management from Florida State University. As well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Relations and Affairs from Florida International University.
Before joining UM, Diana served as the E-Resources Librarian at Florida International University. She has worked in academic libraries for over 11 years and has experience with cataloging, data management, troubleshooting, e-resource management and licensing.
